The sound research — session # 1

Today I had the second session already with the group that joined me in the exploration of sounds.

That's what we did today. Firstly, we listened to the piece "Ionization" by Edgard Varése, to "Passages" by Ravi Shankar and Philip Glass and to the piece "Danzon no 2" by Arturo Marquez conducted by Alondra de la Parra. We were playing along with the pieces using spoons.

After that, we turned the music off and recorded this piece. Although it might seem so, in the beginning, it does evolve and experiences a kind of climax at 5 minute and then in the end.

Next time I plan to work with newspapers.

Drawings from KIJK!

Actually, I should have done it much earlier. But it's better late than never. I tried to order all the drawings I've called up to this point and starting from the next session I will try to keep the archive a bit more organized, noting in which month which drawing was made.
