'The Non-Objects Auction' is a performance prepared in collaboration with Ann De Keersmaecker and Ward Claeys. It was organised in the art center 'Croxhapox'.

In this auction I sold works produced during the project 'We Are Happy When We Make This'. The artistic status of those work is subject to doubts. They were produced in a participatory project and the white collars from art galleries don't consider this kind of works to be related to the art world.

The value of works was accumulated during the process of creation and public exhibition. Some of the works did not have a material medium anymore (they were stolen or otherwise disappeared); and the claim was made that the value of those works was detached from the physical media. The artistic status was affirmed by the certificates of authenticity.

The buyers were offered two options of payment: monetary payment and labour payment.
